CHRISTMAS!!!!
This Christmas was so fun! On Christmas eve Rus, Kam, and I went to a Christmas eve party at my aunt Jenn's house. We had a "dutch" present and inside it were Pj's for the kids. We ate, visited, and sang christmas songs while my grandpa played his guitar. Kam got to show off some of her gymnastics tricks too. On Christmas morning we were with my mom. Our step brothers were with us too. We got up at 6:00 am and couldn't wait to see what Santa brought us. For Rustyn his main present from Santa was a new red bike, he has wanted one for a while now and was so excited to finally get it. Kamryn's main gift from Santa was a CD player with CDs. She blasted Hannah Montana, Camp Rock, and Jonas Brothers all morning! I got a pink camera!! I loved it and I am starting to understand how to work it. We all got what we wanted and got dressed in our new Chrismas outfits and headed to my aunt Dawn's house. We had our annual Christmas brunch and got to open a really special present this year. Before my grandma died, her, my mom, and my aunts put together something really special for the grandkids because they knew my grandma wouldn't be around for Chrismas. Each grandkid got a Build-a-Bear that had a recording of my grandma telling us how much she loved us and to remember her always. It was very special and something we all will keep forever. Later that day my dad came and picked us up and we went to my grandma Diane's house. For a while my dad kept telling us to not be disappointed with the gifts he was going to give us because it wasn't much and to not get our hopes up. So when we got to her house my dad set a big present in front of each of us. When we opened it we saw really nice travel bags. And in side them we found TONS of presents. My dad had tricked us!! Kam got DS and tons more things (which i can't remember). My brother got an awesome remote control car it was so fast, but it broke so we are going to exchange it today, and other stuff that I can't remember. And I got a new phone, gift certificate to one of my favorite stores, shoes, and more! But one of the bigger gifts my dad gave all of us were tickets to Orlando Florida, and we will be going to DISNEYWORLD!!!!!!!!! We are so excited! We opened the rest of the gifts from family. I honestly can't remember what my brother and sister got, we have so much stuff I just can't keep track! But one of the presents I was excited with was the Brady Bunch show! I watched them that night and loved them. I love those shows. So if anyone likes the Brady Bunch give me a call and we can watch them together because I have plenty of episodes. Some gifts my dad got were The Dark Night, a picture of us three kids, a calendar from my brother, and gift certificate to a golf store. We all had a great Christmas!

Nothin New
Well there isn't anything very fun to report. But some of my aunts have been giving me crap about me bugging them to update their blogs and I never update mine. So here ya go ladies! My Jr. High basketball team practices so far are going good for me, we practice for 2 1/2 hours everyday. We don't have practice over Christmas break, but when we get back we only have a few days to prepare for out first game! :( We have a lot to accomplish in just a couple days. Me and Kam have been a little sick on and off, which is not fun at all. I had my last comp. league team game recently, and that starts back up in the spring. We had our tournaments today, and we won our first game, but lost the second one by 1 point! It was ok though, we played really hard and the girls we played were all a year older than us (and last time we played them they beat us by 25). My dad has been really busy with work, but he is coming down for Christmas and I think we will be going to Jackson Hole soon with him too. Rustyn and Kami have loved being in the snow, and I absolutely hate it! Every morning i wake up and I see more snow on the ground I want to scream! Oh well, at least we will get a white Christmas:)

BASKETBALL BABE!!!
Yesterday and today(Monday and Tuesday) were Jr. High basketball tryouts. I have been nervous forever!! There were about 45 girls who tried out. The first day about half were cut. And the ones who made first cuts were to return the next day to see who made the team. I made first cuts and agian was nervous for the final desicion. I didn't think I did that well and I honestly didn't think I made it. I was almost in tears. The coach said that the list would be posted about five minutes after tryouts(which was quick). I slumped back to my locker and got my stuff ready to go home. I freaked my mom out when i text her and said "come" she thought I didn't make it and was going to get me a treat. But within the next 5 minutes I was headed to see the list of girls who made the team. And then one of my friends was yelling down the hall saying I had made it. I was so so so excited!!!! I text my mom that i made it and she didn't think i needed the treat anymore. Everyone was so proud and so was I!! Tomorrow is our first practice..I am thinking we are going to be running a lot. Wish me luck!!

Getting Ready for Christmas!
Well earlier today I wrote 2 really long, good paragraphs about our weekend in Wyoming with out dad and I somehow screwed it up and I didn't save it, so here i am retyping everything, which I am not looking forward to. So I am just going to sum it up! ok? Well over the weekend we went to Alpine, (where my dad is living) and we had some fun activities planned. We got to decorate gingerbread houses! My dad thought for sure his would be the best, but i thought my little sisters looked better than his! Liz (a family friend) who we love to hang out with and was with us over the weekend, did an awesome job on hers. It took her forever and she told us she is NEVER going to take that much time and put that much effort into a gingerbread house again. But everyone thought it looked pretty cool. We watched a little football..well actually a lot of football. Even though we really don't like Florida college teams we watched Florida vs. Alabama and we were really excited when Florida took the victory. We also got a Christmas Tree and decorated it! Kamryn went a little crazy on the tinsel, but it was a fun activity and we had a good time listening to Christmas music and hanging out as a family. The living room looks a lot better with a cute tree now! Another thing we did over the weekend was count all the change my dad had! After counting them for what seems like forever we came up with the grand total of...$312 bucks!! We aren't quite sure what to do with it, we are thinking maybe buying an Xbox. Any ideas? All in all it was a fun weekend, and got me in the christmas mood! Christmas is on its way!

Thanksgiving Weekend!
This Thanksgiving weekend was a little crazy. For Thanksgiving Dinner Rustyn, Kamryn and I went to my aunt Dawns in Draper. We spent most of the night there hanging out with cousins. Afterward my dad came and picked us up and we all headed for Henefer. Our aunt Gina, who lives in Las Vegas came down as well as my Aunt and Uncle, Laci and Brent, who are living in Provo came with their two little girls, Kaylie and Madison. Our whole family was there and we sat around and visited and looked at magazines, getting ready for "Black Friday!" Which is a tradition in our family where my three aunts, grandma, and me go Christmas shopping all day! While the guys stay behind to babysit. We left my grandmas house around seven and didn't return until around six. We were a little disappointed that we only saw one person on the ambulance stretcher, it can get pretty crazy when there are a couple crazy shoppers who are willing to fight for the toy or bargain they are looking for. But we had a good time and were ready for bed shortly after we played bingo and ate dinner.
Saturday was kind of a hang out day. After breakfast we went to the church to play basketball, we had a good time, even though my dad almost broke his back playing, (he is getting old!). We were at the church for two hours and then went home to lounge around some more. That night at the park, Santa Claus came and all of my little cousins couldn't wait to tell Santa what they want. It wasn't too cold and soon enough we were back at grandma's house. Today, (Sunday) everyone is going back home:( It is always fun to see family and get to spend time together. We always look forward to family gatherings.
